Warmdrive is a faithful reproduction of a very special amp-in-a-box pedal that delivers the sought-after overdrive sound of an amplifier. Whether you’re looking for a transparent overdrive tone, driving a tube amp into saturation or a solo sound with punch and clarity, Warmdrive has all the sounds of the legendary pedal.
Warmdrive combines high quality components such as 2N7000 MOSFETs and 1N34a Germanium/Schottky BAT41 diodes with a faithful circuit design to achieve the same sound and tone profile of the original.
The secret ingredient of the Warmdrive is the unique, faithful voice/tone control combination. This setup gives artists added versatility compared to your average overdrive pedal and allows you to change the frequency both before (Voice knob) and after (Tone knob) the overdrive stage.
By playing with the controls, you can create dynamic sounds that almost sound like two guitar signals at the same time. A saturated, cascading gain sound is also part of the portfolio and makes it easy to lose yourself in a solo jam.
