The BL8 is a semi-cardioid boundary microphone that uses the same capsule as the famous sE8 small-diaphragm condenser microphone. Its handcrafted condenser capsule utilizes an ultra-thin, gold-plated diaphragm at three micrometers for excellent transient response. Designed to reproduce low frequencies with stunning accuracy, the BL8 is perfect for use with the V Kick, but can also be used on its own without an additional kick drum microphone. It is also compatible with the Kelly Shu Flatz Isolation System, making it ideal for touring applications.
