Frame Wood
Crafted from premium Russian wood, chosen for its acoustic quality and strength. The frame is designed to be lightweight, allowing musicians to comfortably hold and play the Daf for extended periods without strain. No surface paint is used – instead, the frame is sealed using a vacuum applied protective coat, which deeply insulates the wood against humidity and climate change. This specialized treatment helps prevent warping or deformation and adds long-term durability.
Synthetic Skin Printing
All Dafs use advanced synthetic heads featuring custom-printed artwork. The design is printed using flatbed UV technology, followed by a thin UV coating. This process acts like a protective glass over a photo – the UV coat safeguards the print from sweat, moisture, and wear caused by regular performance and handling.
Internal Jingles
The jingles are securely fastened inside the frame using a reinforced system. This ensures they remain in place even during intense playing, preventing them from falling out or loosening over time.
