- Finish: Ebony, hand-sprayed high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. With the traditional white 4-ply pickguard and chrome hardware.
- Body: Mahogany, grade-A.
- Neck: Mahogany, grade-A. Set neck construction – this enables a very good sustain, an easy access to the upper frets, and of course a full, « fat » tone.
- Scale: 24.75″.
- Fretboard: Rosewood, one-piece grade-A, with binding, dot inlays and a commemorative « 120th Anniversary » banner at the 12th fret. 12″ radius.
- Frets: 22, fret-over-binding for added playing surface.
- Headstock: Classic Explorer shape, black, with mother-of-pearl logo.
- Tuners: Mini Grover USA.
- Bridge: Tune-O-Matic, with stopbar tailpiece.
